The course describes the relevant physical ocean processes are modified by global change. These processes address those occurring in the subtropical gyres, such as subduction and formation waters or manners oceanographic systems of eastern edges: Outcrop and Ekman transport. They are also subject to processes such as those affecting the ventilation of the thermocline and analysis of large-scale trends and changes in water masses associated study. Equatorial systems adjacent seas and the polar areas will also be considered,. The global and regional sea level variability with mass components, steric and weather, will be given special attention.
