Basedow, also director of the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law, travelled to Galicia to address the Campus do Mar project from the point of view of the legal aspects of Maritime Law. Both the International Max Planck Research School for Maritime Affairs and the Campus do Mar are interested in continuing to work together to facilitate doctoral student exchanges which could begin shortly. "We hope that some of our students can participate this summer in one of the courses offered by the institution that Basedow leads", said Elsa Vázquez, director of the talent acquisition area of the Campus of International Excellence.
