The Ocean University of China is now leading the International Alliance of Marine-Related Institutions, IAMRI, a network of marine institutions of the world, composed of worldwide reference organizations in the marine field as the universities of Tokyo, Bremen, Brest, Southern Korea and Quebeq and the National Oceanography Centre in the UK and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute and for six months, also Campus do Mar.
